Meet the team
After graduating in 1990, Andrew became partner and principal of the Clocktower Dental Clinic in 1996. His postgraduate education includes the certificate in restorative dentistry and a Master’s degree in Dental Implantology from the world-renowned Eastman Dental institute in London. Andrew has also won the Nobel Biocare prize for dental implantology.
Having held positions at St George’s hospital in London and Kingston hospital in Surrey, Andrew has lectured nationally to dentists on implantology and on many other aspects of modern dentistry. He continues to mentor other dentists in implantology. Andrew favours cosmetic and minimally-invasive dentistry and is pleased to have carried out cosmetic work for many celebrities and other well-known people. Andrew is also the director of the new state of the art ‘White Dental Company ‘.
Deepi graduated in 1990. After vocational training she worked in general practice in Manchester and private practice in Australia, gaining experience in cosmetic and holistic dentistry. Since 1993 she has been interested in dental Homeopathy and Holistic dentistry, the practice of mercury-free dentistry and the affects of mercury toxicity.
Deepi is a member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IOMT) and the British Society of Mercury Free Dentistry (BSMFD).
In 1995 Deepi achieved the status of licensed associate of the faculty of homeopathy at London University and in 2005 gained further training in facial aesthetics and rejuvenation and skincare. She has complemented the dental and implant clinic with Face@clocktower.
Sandra: qualified as a dental hygienist in 1983 at The Royal Dental Hospital in Leicester Square. She has received an award for her work in dealing with patients with special needs. Sandra is dedicated to improving and assisting in her patient’s oral health and finds this very rewarding. Her hobbies include cycling including charity rides, such as London to Brighton, running to achieve half marathons and scuba diving; preferably in warm waters!
Joan: has been practising as a hygienist for over thirty years, she qualified in 1980 at the Royal Army Dental Corporation in Aldershot and has achieved the necessary qualifications needed to provide extended duties. She enjoys snorkeling and scuba diving in her spare time.
Dr Joe Omar, medical doctor and lecturer in Harley street and around the West End of London is available to provide specialist sedation services in the clinic for those patients who require this.
Dr Omar offers IV sedation at any time such that arrangements for this type of treatment are very straightforward.
Charlotte: Deals with the day to day running of the practice. She has experience within dental nursing qualifying in 2007 and is up to date with the latest regulations and guidelines.
Charlotte has run race for life for the last 3 years and plans to partake in more charity fundraising in the future. She is currently studying towards her NVQ in customer service and level 4 within dental nursing.
Jo: is the head nurse and has worked in both NHS and private practices for the last 6 years. She has gone on to partake in impression taking and staining and glazing courses and would like to go on to learn more.
She enjoys the surgical side of dentistry as well as other aspects. Jo’s other main interest is dancing and has performed in several pantomimes, ballets and shows.
Stephanie; is currently training and studying to gain her qualification within dental nursing. She enjoys the cosmetic side of dentistry and has gone on to learn about the process of staining and glazing the crowns for patients.
Stephanie has studied art and design at college. In the future she hopes to go on to study dental hygiene.
Tina: Is Clocktower's part-time receptionist. She has trained and worked as a dental nurse at the start of her career but has now been working as a dental receptionist for the last 24 years.
Tina is married with two children and enjoys spending time with her family and friends going cycling, swimming, theatre and Rounders!
