Whilst a healthy diet, plenty of fluids, no smoking and perhaps a good quality moisturiser will help to delay this, facial wrinkles are inevitable<\/a> at some point in our lives.<\/p>\n These lines can usually be minmised using a muscle relaxant which is injected, using a very fine needle, just underneath the skin where the wrinkles are. These work by blocking the nerve signals that cause the skin to wrinkle. After a few days, you will see your lines and wrinkles start to ease, with the full effects being seen within a week or two.<\/p>\n Thinning lips<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n As we get older, we lose some of the natural collagen from our bodies. This collagen usually helps to plump out features such as our lips and cheeks. As we get older, and the collagen is lost, our lips can start to thin and our cheeks begin to sag. To ‘correct’ these problems, we use dermal fillers, which effectively replaces the collagen and plumps up the lips and cheeks again. Like the muscle relaxants, dermal fillers are applied via a very fine needle into the skin.
