What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a skin treatment used to rejuvenate the skin and improve the skin's surface. As the Derma FNS Microneedling device moves across the skin, it makes multiple small needle punctures to create very minor micro injuries. In response to the perceived injury, a cascade of growth factors is released, which in turn triggers new collagen production and therefore skin rejuvenation resulting in smoother, firmer and younger looking skin.
Microneedling can be combined with vitamin serums or PRP (Platelet rich plasma therapy) as the product absorption will be increased.
How many sessions are needed?
We will advise you on the number of sessions required depending on your specific needs but typically a course of 3 sessions is needed.
When will I see the results and how long will they last?
Results will be seen gradually over 2 to 5 weeks after treatment and will be long lasting as microneedling stimulates your natural repair processes.

Downtime
Immediately after your treatment, you will look as though you have a moderate to severe sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual. You may also notice some slight swelling; both are normal and should subside after 1 to 2 hours and will normally diminish within the same day or 24 hours. You may see slight redness after 24 hours but only in minimal areas or spots. Makeup should be avoided for the first 24 hours following treatment.
